Houston County District Attorney Kelly Burke Accidentally Elected to PAC Due to Flawed Butterfly Ballot

Butterfly Ballot

Controversial Butterfly Ballot

By Charlotte Webb, Staff Writer

Many prosecuting attorneys are protesting what they call Houston County District Attorney Kelly Burke's accidental election to the Prosecuting Attorney's Council.  In a press release issued Friday afternoon, the group of prosecuting attorneys calling itself "Prosecutors Against Idiocy" said  that Burke had only been elected because of the confusing butterfly ballot.  "It is clear," they said that, "any prosecutor in their right mind would vote for Pat Buchanan over Burke, it just makes sense."  Leaders of Prosecutors Against Idiocy have not revealed whether they will contest the election but did say that they would not rest until every prosecutor's vote had been counted.

When reached for comment, Lloyd Benson said, "I knew Pat Buchanan, Pat Buchanan was a friend of mine and Kelly Burke is no Pat Buchanan."

As you probably know, this site is a little thing we like to call satire, it is not the Houston Home Journal nor is it District Attorney Kelly Burke's site.  It is however dedicated to illustrating the surreal nature of life with King Kelly, DA of  Houston County.  If you need this footnote to tell you this, you either rode the short bus to school or you are Kelly Burke.    This site was created on a private computer in a private home, on a private internet connection, to a privately owned domain.
