In an interview from his temporary Dooly County Headquarters, DA Kelly Burke conceded that he had inadvertently banished himself from Houston County. "It's embarrassing, but even though we are the most technologically advanced DA's office in the Milky Way Galaxy, mistakes sometimes happen." According to Burke, his name was mistakenly transposed with a defendant's name in a banishment order submitted to the court. He hopes to have his banishment lifted and return to his normal office by early next week. It may take longer however, because Burke also signed an agreement with himself agreeing not to seek any post conviction remedies in this case. As of press time, Burke had not decided whether to enforce his agreement with himself.

As you probably know, this site is a little thing we like to call satire, it is not the Houston Home Journal nor is it District Attorney Kelly Burke's site.  It is however dedicated to illustrating the surreal nature of life with King Kelly, DA of  Houston County.  If you need this footnote to tell you this, you either rode the short bus to school or you are Kelly Burke.    This site was created on a private computer in a private home, on a private internet connection, to a privately owned domain.
