Presumption smumption
In Big Turd's latest attempt to release a Baby Ruth in the Jury Pool entitled Why not here? Another Criminal Law Absurdity!, he whines about Georgia's prohibition against impeaching a defendant with a prior conviction. Of course, yet again he refers to un-convicted defendants as criminals throughout his "article." He also seems to forget the huge exception of similar transactions that lets in pretty much any prior bad act (conviction or not) that is remotely similar to the offense charged. Level playing field, fundamental fairness, Big Turd wouldn't recognize them if they bit him in the tail-feathers.
